			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After the service interruption this afternoon on our storage servers, which affected the email culsters Jinn and Lumiva, the blog, the forum, as well as the customer hub, the IT team met to discuss the incident and look for appropriate measures.</p>
<p>- The Jinn and Lumiva cluster are currently migrating to a new storage unit (as announced <a href="http://blog.iweb.com/en/2008/12/iweb-acquires-the-sun-storage-7410-for-its-storage-area-network/1557.html" target="_blank">here</a> previously). The deployment is planned in the next few weeks; we will keep you informed of the exact date.</p>
<p>- The architecture of servers supporting the customer hub, the blog as well as the forum will be revised and will be improved. This project has been started and will be finished in around 2 weeks.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A hard drive defect was the cause of an immediate crash on our storage unit &#8220;Mara&#8221; which hosts:</p>
<p>- the email clusters Jinn and Lumiva<br />- the customer hub<br />- the iWeb forum and Blog</p>
<p>Usually, hard drives defects are detected automatically by the central unit and are isolated from the disk array. In this case, the unit was unable to detect the hard drive defect, and began to restart contiously. We have been able to identify the hard drive with the help of our provider&#8217;s engineers.</p>
<p>We are currently designing a plan to prevent this to happen again. We will keep you informed shortly.</p>
