Peer1 10gig circuit moved

This morning, we have moved successfully the Peer1 10 Gbps circuit to iWeb-CL datacenter.

10 Gbps with Peer1 Network activated

We have upgraded our Peer1 uplink to 10 gig this morning. We have now 76 Gbps total outbound capacity. If you see any network discrepancies, please open a ticket in the customer hub. Thank you.

CL-R7 firmware updated

We have updated the IOS on CL-R7 router at about 4am. We are monitoring the situation. If it reboots again, we will replace the supervisor engine. The traffic has been rerouted to CL-R8 router as usual.

CL-R7 rebooted

CL-R7 has just rebooted. We suspect a hardware problem according to the error message. We are investigating further. The traffic has been automatically rerouted via the backup router, CL-R8.

The link is back online since 12:09pm. There was some damage somewhere on the dark fiber where a section has been replaced temporarily. A maintenance will be scheduled next week to complete the repair by replacing a much longer portion of the fiber.

Link between HD-R2 and CL-R5 down

The loop between HD-R2 and CL-R5 is currently down. We have opened a ticket with our loop provider, MTO Telecom. Only the Peer1 uplink is down. The rest is not affected. We have other loops between our data centers.

CO-R10 maintenance completed

CO-R10 supervisor engine has been replaced this morning at 7am. There has been no downtime or problem encountered.

A maintenance is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 14th 2009 at 11:00pm EDT for router CO-R10. It is the secondary router for iWeb-CO DC. We will change the supervisor engine for another one. There should be no service interruption. Our BGP session with Tiscali will be gracefully shutdown before the maintenance. Traffic will be rerouted to other providers automatically. You can open a ticket on the hub if you experience any issue. Thank you.
