iWeb’s network among the most reliable networks for a fourth consecutive month

Published on September 17, 2012 at 3:19 pm by iWeb Technologies in: iWeb Articles

Netcraft, a site that measures reliability, uptime and network performance, has ranked as one of the most reliable web hosting companies during August 2012. It is the fourth consecutive month for iWeb in the top-ten list, in which it has appeared regularly over the past year.

Netcraft’s report provides a quick comparison of data transfer reliability. The reliability performance is monitored every 15 minutes, from several reference points.

According to Netcraft, the percentage of failed requests is more pertinent from a customer’s point of view than outages on hosting companies’ own sites, as this gives a pointer to reliability of routing, and this is why they choose to rank their table by fewest failed requests, rather than shortest periods of outage.

Netcraft is a British Internet services company that provides internet security services and research data and analysis on many aspects of the Internet since 1995. It is a respected authority on the market share of web servers, operating systems, hosting providers, ISPs, encrypted transactions, electronic commerce, scripting languages and content technologies on the internet.

The complete analysis is available on Netcraft’s website.
