Based in Montreal, iWeb’s operations include a head office on Nun’s Island and four data centres encompassing 90,000 square feet of latest-generation technology.

Now in rapid expansion, iWeb is seeking an energetic and creative experienced Senior Manager for its Digital Strategy (SMDS) to convert the company’s on-line and eCommerce presence in profitable revenue. Reporting to the Vice President, Wordwide Sales & Marketing, the SMDS will help identify, develop and drive the success of key marketing and sales projects that will generate revenue and efficiencies. The SMDS will work with a team of motivated team lead to increase iWeb’s performance with the various on-line media, documenting, controlling and measuring an integrated plan.

The SMDS will provide a broad range of expertise in the areas of:

• Business to business eCommerce to meet aggressive sales objectives

• Marketing strategies, tactics and communication to promote products, services and brand

• Lead generation, market and competitor research

Specifically, responsibilities will include:

• Federating many internal and external activities and initiatives related to various on-line platforms in a single Digital Strategy adopted by the team

• Translating current and potential markets, product roadmap and strategies, corporate vision and priorities in measurable strategies

• Ensuring brand consistency and clarity of message across platforms

• Coordinating with the sales, product management and marketing teams to develop B2B lead generation tools

• Coordinating the revamping of the corporate website, including design, content, market positioning and all the links and dependencies

• Delivering relevant business cases and reports on progress

• Overseeing the company’s online and social media strategy

• Monitoring competitive activity and industry trends to maintain a lucrative position in the market

• Using a range of research tools and sources to develop the strategy and keen insights into our client’s markets and business activities for customer acquisition and retention

• Translating that information into useful and actionable insights

Required skills and attributes:

• 10 years experience in a marketing / communications role, including integrating multi-channel initiatives

• 5 years experience in active contribution to marketing strategies in a B2B environment

• A real passion for digital technology and a willingness to get to grips with its underlying fundamentals

• Successful track record of marketing in the technology sector; able to translate technical capabilities into meaningful value statements

• Strong multitasking skills, capable of dealing with multiple concurrent projects across marketing channels and stakeholders

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders

• Ability to create campaigns, designs and interfaces that are practical, intuitive and effective

• Exceptional organizational and presentation skills

• Experience managing others, motivating, coaching and driving progress through to completion

• Self-directed and resourceful; a solution-finder and natural change leader

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding environment

• Relevant post-secondary education

• Knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce.com

• Bilingualism (English / French) required, Spanish or Portuguese considered a strong asset, Italian or Arabic a plus.

• Ability to travel internationally
