Primary Duties:

Under the supervision of the team leader, the incumbent is responsible for the initial provisioning of iWeb dedicated servers.

The candidate is responsible for installing the operating system, the different services and the control panels (Plesk, cPanel) as well as the post-installation configuration.

Requirements:

• Diploma of college studies in networking support or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of the installing process, configuration and troubleshoot for Intel / AMD under Linux (CentOS, Fedora, Debian), Windows (2003, 2008 et 2008R2) and FreeBSD servers
• Knowledge of networking technologies, firewalls and load balancing principles
• Functional knowledge of web technologies (DNS, SMTP, FTP)
• Direct experience of remote control tools (SSH, rdesktop, KVM-IP)
• Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written)

Qualifications sought:

• Knowledge of different control panels (Plesk – cPanel – Ensim)
• Experience with CISCO products (Switch, SAA)
• Scripting knowledge (perl, shell, VBS)
• Attentive to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
