iWeb launches its new website
After months of hard work, the whole team is really pleased to launch iWeb’s new website.
This is a perfect time because iWeb has just celebrated 15 years of activity on the Web and we wanted to mark the occasion !
Several changes were made to iweb.com to improve the user experience of our visitors and to better showcase our products and services.
Indeed, we wanted to offer the same visual and ergonomic quality we have implemented in our products, including the Smart Server’s Control Center.
Hundreds of hours of conception, design, drafting, programming and integration allowed us to achieve this result we hope you will enjoy.
First of all, our products are now grouped in a new menu, which presents in a single glance, all we have to offer.
You will find on one side, our unmanaged dedicated servers, Smart, Classic, Windows and V-Ready that you can order directly from the website.
On the right is the list of our Infrastructure Design and advanced solutions services for which you are invited to talk to our specialists to get more information.
Our new Server management and Monitoring service plans are also available from this menu.
Another change to point out, the Support menu now groups together iWeb’s blog, our System Status messages and the forum.
And that’s just the first step in the evolution of the site, we anticipate further improvements that will emerge in the coming weeks.

It looks gorgeous!
One question though… Where are the clearance servers? :|

@maop: Thanks! Don’t worry our Clearance section will reappear soon. We are working on it. In the meantime we can process clearance orders manually. Just contact sales via our livechat.

i liked the old one better, well time calls for changes has to be done.
Might like to see the header slightly smaller, since it seems to take most of our screens.

@ebrahim: So noted! What is the size of your screen? What browser and OS do you use? I’ll forward your comments to our UX team.

I am glad to see iWeb innovating and growing and look forward too to build a long business relationship with iWeb, My only concern is your support services. Dont know why you ppl are not focusing on improving that, although i raise support tickets very less, but still i have seen that those tickets are responded very very late, mostly after 24 hours, this turns my mood off, Hope you will look up on this suggestion of mine.

@Alex. Thanks a lot for your feedback. We aim at answering normal (non-urgent) ticket within 24h. Urgent ticket (“Server outage” option in the Assistance section of the customer-hub) are answered within 15 minutes. Hardware replacement (ex. defective hard disk) are supposed to be done in 4 hours. Although we do not offer fully managed server support, our customer service team is continuously working on improving support ticket response time. We also introduced new server management and server monitoring plans that should help improve customer experience. In any case, I’ll pass your comments on to the team.

Great design! What happened to the 1U-5U colo and mac-mini colo services?
November 30th, 2011 9:50 am
Hi @Yan. Thanks for the compliment! To answer your question, we now only offer full and half racks for colocation. Smaller rack configurations are not available anymore (complete price list here: http://iweb.com/server-colocation/server-rack/list-price ). We also retired all our Mac hosting offers several month ago and they were not transfered to our new design.

Have you completely killed off your affiliate program? Your affiliate page on the main site is no longer there, and it’s been impossible to log in the affiliate back-end for almost a month now.

Hi Charles. No, the program has not been killed off. Current affiliates are still taken care of, although we might not accept new affiliates for the time being while we work on revamping the program (no official date, though). The link to log into your affiliate account is https://affiliation.iweb.com/en/index.php. Let me know if you still have problems connecting to your dashboard.
