Fondaction, The CSN’s investment fund for cooperation and employment increases its investment in iWeb Group by investing an additional 2,5 million dollars, bringing its total investment to 13,5 million since 2007.

MONTREAL, Sept. 6, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ – Fondaction, The CSN’s investment fund for cooperation and employment increases its investment in iWeb Group by investing an additional 2,5 million dollars, bringing its total investment to 13,5 million since 2007. This new funding completes a major financing package attributed to the privatization of the company last June.

Founded in 1996, iWeb is one of the most important Internet infrastructure companies in Canada. It employs over 200 specialists working is four data centers at the cutting edge of technology. iWeb has more than 25,000 customers in 150 countries. Its major shareholder is Novacap Technologies III, s.e.c.. The Caisse Dépôt et Placement du Quebec are also among the shareholders.
