Problem with mail delivery for customers with the SpamShield service

Published on June 17, 2009 at 7:42 am by iWeb-Op in: Status

A problem affecting a Barracuda Spam Appliance used for Spam Shield service filtering caused a mail delivery interruption for customers using Max and Mace MX. A relaying server has been put in place to allow emails to be delivered to mailboxes while we work with the vendor. Services are working normally at this time but without extended filtering. We are working on the situation and hope to be able to restore the Spam Shield level of filtering before the end of the day.

There might be a delay in mail delivery.

If you notice that your mail is not delivered normally, do not hesitate to contact us.

Comments

  1. we are not getting any email right now what is happening?

  2. we have not received any emails since 9:30 EST this morning. We need an update.

  3. Mails should be delivered correctly unless you have a firewall that blocks the new IP of the anti-spam appliance. Did you open a ticket with customer support?
