  3. Well a bit disappointing that you guys only noticed the problem today. The problem with the Jinn mail server actually began on Monday to be precised. While browsing my mail, it all of a sudden began to disappear.

    And all my INBOX was gone. I had sent a complaint to the technical department and they requested to charge me 5 dollars to restore my mails after i told them it was not my fault and that they should check what caused it.

    Well i hope i wont need to be charged anymore and that your technical department is more pro-active.

    Thanks for the updates and hope it is resolved soon.

    Peter

  4. @Petreus Daniel

    Please open a support ticket since your problem is in no way related to the incident we had with Jinn mail servers. Our support team will be able to answer your question and offer a solution to your problem.

    @Mitch Dias

    smtp.privatedns.com is not related to Jinn mail servers. This is a web server and no MTA (SMTP server) is running on this server. This explains why you can’t connect to TCP port 25.

    @Peter

    Which domain are you having problem with? There was no mail lost during the incident, there was only delivery delays and some instabilities with IMAP/POP3 services.
