Update: iWeb community

Since the last blog post about what we’re trying to setup at iWeb, I want to report how the project’s progression:

The best part of the project was the poll, which allowed us to know more about you. Here are fun facts:

  • 48% readers of the iWeb blog have a technical background (sys-admins or programmers)
  • 73% give a positive recommendation (more than 8/10 rating) to iWeb and its products. Thanks!
  • 66% are planning to grow soon and acquire additionnal products and services
  • Price and network are the last criterias when getting hosting services. Reliability, service and performance rate first instead.

Of course, we can’t disclose the complete results, since they had personal information, however here are aggregated results for the non-personal questions:

There will be another poll soon, in the same spirit. Again, thanks for taking your time to answer the questions — there were relevant comments about iWeb’s support and service, and those are now in the issues we’re looking into.

Meanwhile, stay connected with us on twitter, identi.ca, join the facebook group.
