It seems like Google does not talk a lot about the importance of link building though. It is a good starting guide but once you are started it is probably good to go deeper into it with SEO related resources because Google does not tell everything :-)

Looks like everyone is interested in the Google guide. I know there are many consulting firms which published SEO guides (such as seomoz) but indeeed, it’s better to get it right from google. I’ll read it carefully, hopefully a new post coming up.

That SEO starter guide from Google is fantastic. I’ll be sharing that will all my clients. It’s reassuring to see what I’ve been trying to teach my clients come directly from the horse’s mouth too. :)
