iWeb offers more for Gamers!

Published on March 23, 2007 at 2:16 pm by iWeb Technologies in: iWeb Articles

Tonight, 500 gamers will be uniting for one of the most important LAN parties in Canada. This will take place this evening (March 23rd) at 6:00 PM and runs non-stop until Sunday morning. Throughout the event iWeb will distribute customized T-shirts to each player (with the player’s name) as well as BASE energy drinks at a minimal cost; in association with Base Concept and CIPC computer equipment retailers.

There are still a few places available at the LAN so hurry and sign up!

Pictures of the event will be published next week. This qualifies as a must-see event. Not only because the LAN gaming event is unique, but also because we will have some lovely ladies distributing the T-shirts for the event …. and for the women, you’ll get to meet the men of iWeb ;-)

We hope to see you there!

Second Phase of Datacenter Expansion; Photos!

Published on March 7, 2007 at 4:20 pm by iWeb Technologies in: iWeb Articles

Here is an update about the work going on at our iWEB-CL datacenter. Last week, a press release announced a new financing deal in order to complete “Phase 2″ of iWEB-CL’s datacenter expansion. This new financing will be used in order to expand the datacenter and install additional equipments which will allow us to increase the number of servers that can be hosted at iWEB-CL. After this expansion phase, we will have everything in place to host up to 4000 servers in the DC and only minor additions will be needed in the future to raise the capacity to 12 000 servers which is iWEB-CL’s full capacity.
